Representing DB in Australian
geographical markets in relation to the developing and converting
sales opportunities both via EP local sales representatives and
defined agents, meeting predefined margins and technical
standards.
Primary
Responsibilities:
* Generation of sales and sales
growth from existing accounts, both in new equipment &
aftermarket sectors, within TFP & Textron negotiating
parameters. * Implement and maintain Pricing Strategy for Australian
products, in line with EP policy * Ensure achievement of
profitability goals by management of pricing and cost structures *
Maintain accurate awareness of market trends, technologies,
competitor intelligence and channels to market * Liase with
Operations to ensure availability of capacity for current and future
requirements * Generation of new sales leads and conversion into
profitable orders that meet the Engineered Products Sales Strategy
within geographical remit. * Management and monitoring of live sales
proposals. * Liaison with senior sales, operations, engineering and
finance on aspects of final order negotiation and hand over to
operations. * Reporting on sales activities and results. *
Forecasting of future order input and margins. * Responsible for
ensuring that customer / agents relationships are consistent with
Textron ethics guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities Required:
Knowledge of relevant industry’s
applications of power transmission products Sound understanding of
engineering principles although knowledge of power transmission
design and application would be advantegous. At least 3 years in a
sales environment. English speaking
