To assist the marketing team in
gathering and analyzing industry data that will help us better
understand the industry segments we compete in, or plan to
enter.
Primary
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research and
analysis to support plans and projects. Analyze financial data to
support project 2. Gather information from primary and secondary
research. 3. Conduct peer / competitive benchmarking and analysis of
business and market dynamics. 4. Monitor developments and maintain a
watch list of companies / industries with on-going analysis. 5.
Analyze and report global macro-economic trends and events. 6.
Participate in acquisition and new business evaluations. 7. Review
and analyze strategic business plans to assess risks and
opportunities. 8. Prepare presentations and supporting analyses. 9.
The right candidate will have ample opportunity to lead
implementation of marketing programs, product development, product
sourcing, customer lead generation etc.

PowerPoint, spreadsheets, word processing. Database a plus

skills, ability to manage multiple tasks Able to work overtime and
travel on Company business BA/BS degree in business, accounting,
engineering, marketing or economics required. Other analytical
disciplines considered (e.g. mathematics or engineering). 2-3
years business experience in areas such as management consulting,
investment banking, strategic planning, M&A, internal audit,
financial analysis or market research. MBA not required.
Candidates for this position may be interested in pursuing a
part-time or a full-time MBA after 2-3 years.
