Textron Fluid & Power is a business unit of Textron Inc. The business unit includes Union Pump, Polymer Systems, Gear Technologies and Hydraulics. Union Pump includes Union Pump Company and Union Pump Canada Limited, which were acquired in 1998 by the David Brown Group, which was subsequently purchased by Textron Inc. in 1999. Guinard Pump was acquired by Textron Inc. in 1999 from the KSB group.
The acquisitions allow us to provide a complete line of pumps such as centrifugal, reciprocating, axial flow, power, direct acting, and gear pumps, which serve many diverse pump markets including, but not limited to petroleum process, oil, gas, chemical, power generation, reverse osmosis, boiler feedwater, extrusion, polymer, compounding process, and general industries.
